Rosés wines

The main grape is the Cabernet Franc. The Touraine area is the only region in France which procudes wines only from this grape.

The Cabernet Sauvignon is little spread and gives here common wines.

Côt or Malbec from Bordeaux region is introduced for a long time in Touraine.

Gamay which produces light and fruity wines.

Grolleau, which would be native of the region, maybe would convert into wine in red, white and rosés, especially for sparkling wines production. It produces wines without tannin and aggressive acidity.

Pineau d' Aunis is a rather aromatic grape.

We also find, in small proportions, the Pinot Noir, the Pinot Gris and the Pinot Meunier.
